Heisman Trophy runner-up Darren McFadden was detained by police at a Little Rock bar early Thursday, but was released and not charged. Police say they were called to a disturbance at the downtown establishment, and officers handcuffed McFadden, describing his behavior as “rowdy.” He was released after he calmed down. Officers say a bouncer was hit in the face as he attempted to get a group of people to leave. It’s not yet known if the incident will affect McFadden’s status in the upcoming NFL draft, should he decide to turn pro this year.
