
The National Football Foundation announced the ballot for the 2008 class for the College Football Hall of Fame on Tuesday. The nominees include 75 players and eight coaches. Among the notable players are UCLA’s Troy Aikman, Notre Dame’s Tim Brown and Syracuse’s Art Monk, who was elected into the NFL Hall of Fame class of 2008. The FBS Hall of Fame class will be announced at a press conference on May 1st and inducted at the National Football Foundation’s Annual Awards Dinner on December 9th. Official enshrinement will take place in the summer of 2009. Other nominees include Arizona State’s Pat Tillman, UCLA’s Ken Norton Jr., Florida State’s Deion Sanders, North Carolina’s Lawrence Taylor and Oklahoma State’s Thurman Thomas.
