Ex Tech Quarterback Arrested For Hit And Run, DUI

Former Georgia Tech quarterback Joe Hamilton is out on bond this morning after being arrested on hit-and-run and DUI charges.  Police say Hamilton drove off after rear-ending another car.  Once pulled over, an open bottle of beer and some marijuana were found in his car, according to officers.  Hamilton currently works for the Georgia Tech as an assistant director of player personnel.  The thirty-one year-old apologized to the Tech community and to his family shortly after a bond hearing.  Tech AD Dan Radakovich says appropriate action will be taken upon completion of the investigation.
