Sun Belt Conference contender Arkansas State has suspended running back Preston Brown for the 2008 season.
Brown and defensive back Marlon Douglas are currently facing burglary and theft charges and have been suspended indefinitely since the time of their arrest.
ASU coach Steve Roberts confirmed yesterday that those suspensions will be season-long suspensions.
Brown ran for 298 yards and made 20 receptions for Arkansas State last season as a freshman.
