Texas A&M Gets Top DB

Texas A&M landed one of the nation’s top defensive backs for their 2009 recruiting class today, receiving a verbal commitment from highly-coveted in-state prospect Steven Terrell.

A 5-11, 180-pound safety, Terrell has great speed and athleticism and shows outstanding range and acceleration in defending both the pass and run.  His presence should help give Texas A&M great scheme-versatility on defense.

Terrell chose Texas A&M over Arizona, Arizona State, Kansas, and Wisconsin among others.
