Indiana Reinstates Starting QB

Lewis

The Indiana Hoosiers reinstated starting quarterback Kellen Lewis to the team on Monday, following a four month suspension for “undisclosed reasons”.

Lewis, an exciting and dynamic player, was one of only three quarterbacks in the nation to pass for over 3,000 yards while also rushing for over 700 yards last season, joining Florida’s Tim Tebow and Central Michigan’s Dan LeFevour as the only quarterbacks to accomplish that feat.

Lewis was a second-team All Big Ten Conference selection last year as a sophomore and is expected to be one of the Big Ten’s top players again this season.
