Arizona Gets Michigan State Transfer

Foles

The Arizona Wildcats have picked up Michigan State transfer and former Texas prep star Nick Foles.

Foles, a strong-armed, 6-5, 240-pound quarterback, led Westlake High School to the Class 5A Texas State Championship in his senior season.

Expected to be the backup QB this season at Michigan State, Foles will compete for the starting job next season as a sophomore at Arizona.

He will sit out this season under NCAA transfer rules.

Foles chose Arizona following transfer-related discussions with Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, and New Mexico among others.
