UCLA Safety Suspended For Season Opener

Lockett

Coach Rick Neuheisel has suspended UCLA strong safety Bret Lockett for the team’s season opener against Tennessee.

Lockett, the only senior in the Bruins’ starting secondary, was suspended for violating a team academic policy.

Lockett will participate in Fall practice and will return for UCLA’s second game of the season, a September 13 matchup against BYU.
