The Florida Gators added one of the nation’s top tight ends to their 2009 recruiting class on Monday, landing South Carolina prep star Desmond Parks.
A 6-6, 225-pounder with 4.6 speed and great hands, Parks made 29 receptions for 403 yards and five touchdowns last season as a junior at Greer High School in Greer, South Carolina.
Parks chose Florida over Clemson, Georgia, Florida State, and South Carolina among others.
