Bowling Green and Central Michigan are the favorites in the Mid-American Conference football race. The news media that cover the MAC voted the Falcons as the East Division favorite and the Chippewas the West Division front-runner at Tuesday’s media day. Miami was the number-two choice in the East, with the Ohio Bobcats picked sixth in the seven-team division. The division winners meet in the MAC title game in December at Detroit’s Ford Field.
