Posted in The Vanderbilt Commodores improved their 2009 recruiting class today, receiving a commitment from Illinois prep star Charlie Goro.
Goro, a 6-2, 190-pound quarterback, passed for 2,072 yards and 26 touchdowns last season as a junior at Maine Township South High School in Park Ridge, Illinois.
Goro chose Vanderbilt over Illinois, Michigan State, and Air Force among others.
