The Big East Conference ended it’s affiliation with the Texas Bowl today, effective immediately.
The Texas Bowl moved quickly to fill the void, replacing the Big East with Conference USA for the annual bowl game, which will now match a team from the Big 12 Conference against a team from Conference USA.
