Pitt Panthers Snare In-State Star

The Pittsburgh Panthers added the ninth commitment to their 2009 recruiting class over the weekend, landing in-state prep star Tyrone Ezell.
A 6-4, 250-pound defensive tackle, Ezell had 122 tackles and 10 sacks last season as a junior at Steel Valley High School in Munhall, Pennsylvania.

Pitt Panthers Grab Top WR

The Pittsburgh Panthers have received their fifth commitment for their 2009 recruiting class, landing highly-regarded in-state prospect Devin Street.
A 6-4, 180-pound wide receiver with good hands and 4.4 40-yard-dash speed, Street will be a senior this fall at Liberty High School in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

Pitt Wide Receiver Will Miss Season

Pittsburgh wide receiver Maurice Williams will miss the 2008 season after being declared academically ineligible by the school.
Williams played in 10 games for the Panthers last season, making five receptions for 100 yards and one touchdown.  He was expected to be Pitt’s primary deep threat this season.
